About the Instructor:

danolsen-100Dan Olsen is an entrepreneur and product expert. He started his high-tech career managing submarine design and then worked at Intuit where he led product management for Quicken. Dan also led product management at Friendster. He was CEO and cofounder of YourVersion, a personalized news discovery engine startup that won the People’s Choice Award at TechCrunch50. Dan currently consults to companies, usually as interim VP of Product for early stage startups. His prior clients include Facebook, Box, YouSendIt, Chartboost, Epocrates, Ness, VideoGenie, and One Medical Group. Dan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from Stanford.
